BC's Columbia Valley
Stretching from Spillimacheen in the north to Canal Flats in the south, BC's Columbia Valley is joined by the Columbia River. With it's headwaters (beginning) in the south the Columbia River is unique in many ways! First, it flows south to north (yep!), second it's home to North America's largest wetlands, third it feeds the Valley's most popular and warm lake, Lake Windermere, which is 25-30ft at its deepest and in this Valley the river is calm and small unlike itself after it turns to flow south all the way to the Oregon Coast.
